Branksome Solutions Ltd is an independent, family run business driven by industry leading knowledge, experience and a genuine passion for what we do.
Established in 2014, utilising almost 30 years’ hands on experience in the rail depot facilities industry, and the backing of our loyal and happy customers, we are continuously expanding our small business and enjoying every second of it. Having a vast knowledge of the networks train care infrastructure, from carriage washing systems to concept and design support – we offer a plethora of solutions and experience to get any depot facilities job done.

Over the years our knowledge and experience has also been invaluable to many of the principal contractors that we have worked alongside, enabling the delivery of projects, such as the design, manufacture and installation of fuelling, controlled emissions toilets (CET) and carriage wash machines (CWM) at Doncaster (IEP) and the upgrade at Bedford Depot to accommodate the new 700 series rolling stock.
Other projects include a bespoke design, manufacture, and installation of a temporary CWM at Gidea Park, in 2016. Which included a 2-year turn-key planned preventative maintenance program and breakdown package.
In 2019, rather than removing the CWM as planned, we were asked to relocate the asset and to continue providing planned preventative maintenance and breakdown cover.
Accreditations & Training
RISQS: Branksome Solutions Ltd (4999). The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is GB rail’s supplier assurance scheme, under the stewardship of the Rail Safety & Standards Board (RSSB).
As members we are annually audited, which verifies our business management system in terms of general organisational, health, safety, environment, subcontracting and competence standards, that directly support our specific products and services.
As a Sentinel Scheme Sponsor, our engineers all hold the Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification for AC/DCCR and are sponsored in house.
